In Sept 2014 Paul and Claire Murphy became full time volunteers with the Christian Family Centre (NI). They have added so much to life at the Centre, and have provided an essential support to Paul and Kerry Paynter.
They have undertaken to upgrade the accommodation and are skilled at creating attractive and comfortable places for our residents to stay.
“When we came to CFC ”, says Claire, “we didn’t really have a job description, but our time at Christian Family Centre has been enjoyable and challenging in ways we never imagined.” Paul was once a resident at Christian Family Centre and after he left he always knew he would serve in such an environment. Both concur, “We see how through our own brokenness and the pain in our past, God is using that to help us help others. “
Paul and Claire left secure jobs, and living close by family and friends to serve at Armoy. However they both know they are following God’s call on their lives to care for those who have been broken by tragedy and trauma.
Please pray for Paul and Claire as living and ministering within such an environment as Christian Family Centre can be very demanding.
